From 13–17 July, DANTE had the pleasure of welcoming teachers from Romania, Portugal, Hungary, Poland and Latvia to Rijeka, Croatia, for the Erasmus+ staff mobility course “Interactive Use of Digital Tools in Education.

Throughout five inspiring days, participants explored a wide range of digital tools that can enrich teaching, increase student engagement, and support more interactive learning experiences. The course combined practical workshops, collaborative activities, and discussions, allowing teachers to gain hands-on experience with technologies they can immediately apply in their own classrooms.

Among the tools and resources explored during the course were AI-powered educational applications, Nearpod, Padlet, Quizlet, Genially, QR codes, virtual reality (VR), and many other innovative digital solutions. Rather than simply introducing new platforms, the focus was on how these tools can be used effectively to create engaging lessons, encourage student participation, and support different learning styles.

One of the greatest strengths of every Erasmus+ mobility is the opportunity to connect with educators from different countries. Throughout the week, participants shared classroom experiences, exchanged good practices, discussed common challenges, and discovered new teaching approaches from across Europe. These conversations not only enriched the learning experience but also created valuable professional connections that will continue beyond the course.

Learning was complemented by the opportunity to experience the welcoming atmosphere of Rijeka, a vibrant Adriatic city that provides the perfect setting for international cooperation and professional development. The combination of high-quality training, cultural exchange, and networking makes every Erasmus+ mobility a unique and rewarding experience.

We would like to thank all participants for their enthusiasm, active participation, and willingness to share their knowledge and ideas. Your contributions made this week truly inspiring.
