Twin Transition in Practice: Exploring Green and Digital Transformation

Course summary

The green and digital transitions are transforming the way organisations, businesses and communities operate. Rather than developing independently, these two transitions increasingly complement one another, creating new opportunities for sustainable growth, innovation and resilience. Understanding how to combine environmental sustainability with digital transformation has become essential for organisations across all sectors. This interactive five-day course introduces participants to the concept of the twin transition by exploring the green and digital transitions individually before examining how they work together in practice. Participants will become familiar with key European initiatives, including the European Green Deal, the Digital Decade 2030, GreenComp and DigComp, while exploring practical approaches to integrating sustainability and digitalisation into organisational strategies and everyday practice. Through interactive workshops, collaborative activities, case studies and peer learning, participants will analyse real-life examples of twin transition initiatives, explore challenges and opportunities across different sectors, and develop practical solutions relevant to their own professional context.
