This year, Dante Adult Education Institution had the pleasure of welcoming two groups of adult learners from Spain to Rijeka as part of the Erasmus+ learner mobility programme.
A total of 20 participants joined our English language course, including 12 learners from FPA La Llotja and 8 learners from Escuela Oficial de Idiomas Los Cristianos. During their stay, they worked on improving their English in a friendly and international learning environment.
The course focused on practical communication. Through discussions, pair and group activities, and everyday situations, participants strengthened their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Lessons encouraged active participation and gave learners the confidence to use English in real-life conversations.
One of the best parts of any Erasmus+ mobility is that learning continues outside the classroom. While exploring Rijeka, visiting local attractions, and spending time together, participants had many opportunities to practise English in everyday situations. These informal moments often become some of the most valuable learning experiences.
The mobility was also an opportunity to meet people from another country, exchange ideas, and learn more about different cultures. Erasmus+ brings people together through education, helping participants build new skills while creating friendships and lasting memories.
We would like to thank our partners, FPA La Llotja and Escuela Oficial de Idiomas Los Cristianos, for choosing Dante as their host organisation. It was a pleasure to welcome both groups to Rijeka, and we hope this is just one of many successful collaborations in the future.
