About the project

CARE – Language eduCation for inclusion of immigrAnt minoRity studEnts

The CARE project aims to support the integration of migrant students into multilingual educational systems by developing innovative tools and methodologies for language learning. Through tailored outputs such as a Methodological Guidebook, CLIL-based language courses, a digital mentoring programme, and an E-platform, the project empowers educators to create inclusive, effective learning environments. CARE promotes linguistic and cultural inclusion, fostering academic success and social cohesion.

Intended for:

  • Language educators, teachers, and digital mentors working with pupils from migrant or bilingual backgrounds.
  • Migrant pupils and bilingual schoolchildren who will directly benefit from the enhanced educational tools and mentoring programs.
  • Educational organizations and stakeholders aiming to implement and adapt project outputs.

Additional Stakeholders:

  • Policymakers, school administrators, and organizations working in the fields of migrant and refugee education.
  • Broader educational communities informed via online platforms (e.g., EPALE, eTwinning) and multiplier events.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES

1. Methodological Guidebook for language teachers/ tutors/ linguists supporting language education of pupils with migrant
background

2. CLIL-based language courses incl. integrated AI solutions, addressed to:
– pupils aged 7-14 (BICS and CALP modules in the language of schooling; level A1-B1)
– pupils aged 11-14 (BICS and CALP modules in the language of schooling; level A1-B2; emphasis on public speeches, selfpresentation)
from migrant families

3. Methodology of TELMS-based digital mentoring including a set of digital tools that can be used to support language
education of migrant (bilingual) schoolchildren and their everyday functioning.

4. E-platform gathering all outputs and enabling teachers to share their experiences, learning materials, comments,
feedback and ideas.
