TTRUE

TTRUE is a transnational Erasmus+ project (KA210 – Adult Education) running from September 2025 to February 2027, focused on supporting unemployed adults through innovative theatre-based learning approaches. The project brings together Didaxé Cooperativa Sociale (Italy, coordinator), Dante Adult Education Institution (Croatia) and Unofficial Media and Training Ltd. (Ireland), combining expertise in adult education, community engagement, and creative methodologies.

At its core, TTRUE uses theatre as a powerful tool for personal and professional development. Through role-play, improvisation, and collaborative performance creation, participants engage in experiential learning that helps them rebuild self-confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and a sense of initiative. The approach recognises that employability is not only about technical skills, but also about psychological readiness, social competences, and belief in one’s own potential. The project is designed for long-term unemployed adults (40+) and young unemployed people and NEETs (18–30), who often face barriers such as low confidence, limited work experience, and social isolation. By creating a safe and creative environment, TTRUE supports both personal empowerment and social reintegration.

During the project, partners will develop and test a theatre-based training methodology, implement pilot programmes in three countries, and organise local public performances showcasing participants’ learning journeys. The main outcome will be the TTRUE Toolkit, an open-access resource enabling other organisations across Europe to replicate the approach. By combining creativity, education, and employability support, TTRUE contributes to stronger adult education systems, more inclusive communities, and improved access to the labour market.
