UNVEIL

UNVEIL is an innovative project aimed at transforming Vocational Education and Training (VET) across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, and Uganda. This initiative is set against the backdrop of the digital revolution, particularly the advent of Web 4.0, and seeks to close the skills gap in these fast-evolving economies.

Inspired by the EU strategy to lead on Web 4.0 and virtual worlds and the EntreComp framework, the project’s heart lies in its commitment to preparing educators and learners for the demands of a digital world, fostering a dynamic link between education and the rapidly changing job market.

Acitivities:

1. Primary and secondary data collection on the latest trends and advancements in emerging technologies and entrepreneurship in the digital age
2. Identification of skills in-demand by involving 45 representatives coming from VET centers, local authorities, educational institutions, and stakeholders
3. Design of the e-course methodology and e-learning hub set-up
4. Physical training activities involving at least 50 VET educators/trainers across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda
5. International conference in Vienna, Austria with round tables to encourage networking and dialogue.
