About the Event
Celebrating its 5th edition, the DANTE Conference & Networking Event has grown into one of Europe’s most vibrant gatherings for professionals, researchers, and practitioners in adult learning and education.
What began as a small initiative has evolved into a European platform where ideas, experiences, and innovations meet.
This year’s theme – “Learning Futures: Skills, Policies, and the Human Role in Europe’s Adult Education” – invites participants to explore how digital transformation, skills development, and human values are reshaping adult learning.
Over two days at Hotel Admiral in Opatija, participants will engage in keynotes, interactive workshops, policy labs, and networking sessions, all designed to imagine the educator and learner of 2035.

Our speakers
Katarina Popović
Secretary General of the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE), Professor at the University of Belgrade, and member of the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame.
Greta Pelucco
Senior EU Public Affairs Coordinator at the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA), working at the intersection of education, democracy, and social change.
Participation, fees and accomodation
Participation fee: €280
The fee covers only part of the total event costs. Please complete the registration form by 15 December 2025. Upon registering, you’ll receive payment instructions and an invoice. Please note that travel and accommodation costs are not included in the participation fee.
Special accommodation rates for DANTE Network Event participants are available at Hotel Admiral. Participants can book their stay directly via the Liburnia Hotels website at www.liburnia.hr by entering the promo code: DANTE2026 after selecting their dates.
The booking deadline is 12 January 2026, or until all rooms are filled.
Guests who wish to pay in advance by pro forma invoice should complete their booking on the website and select “payment by pro forma invoice” at the final step. Please note that invoices must be paid at least 10 days before arrival, otherwise the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
