Learning doesn’t have to stay within four classroom walls. That’s the idea behind our new Erasmus+ course, Outdoor Learning and Experiential Education, taking place from 21–25 September 2026.
Designed for teachers, trainers, and adult educators, this five-day programme explores how natural and local environments can become engaging spaces for learning. Through practical activities and shared experiences, participants will discover how outdoor education can encourage curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and active participation.
Rather than focusing only on theory, the course offers hands-on methods that educators can immediately apply in their own teaching. Participants will experience a variety of outdoor activities and experiential learning techniques that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and environmental awareness while supporting learners’ personal and social development.
One of the strengths of the programme is its flexibility. The activities and approaches can be adapted to different age groups, subjects, and educational settings, making them suitable for schools, adult education centres, vocational training providers, and other learning organisations.
By the end of the course, participants will return home with practical ideas, ready-to-use activities, and greater confidence in creating meaningful learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom.
Course dates: 21–25 September 2026
