Creating a Sustainable Future: Strategies for Organisations & Educators

A course that combines theory, active learning, and digital tools to foster lifelong critical thinking skills.

Course summary

Sustainability has become one of the defining priorities of the 21st century, influencing the way we live, work, teach and lead organisations. As environmental, social and economic challenges continue to shape our societies, professionals across all sectors need the knowledge, skills and confidence to contribute to a more sustainable future. This interactive five-day course provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to sustainability, exploring its environmental, social and economic dimensions while linking global challenges to practical action. Participants will become familiar with key European initiatives, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the European Green Deal and the GreenComp – European Sustainability Competence Framework. Through collaborative workshops, outdoor learning, case studies and practical activities, participants will explore how sustainability can be integrated into teaching, organisational development, community engagement and international cooperation.
